Hey, you know how the song goes...

The beginning is some wierd thing with maybe an Am and then a G.

When the song starts for real, and for most of the verse, the bass goes

  G D G D

|-----------------|-----------------|
|-----------------|-----------------|
|---------5-5-5-5-|-3-3-3-3-5-5-5-5-|
|-3-3-3-3---------|-----------------|

The open-sounding guitar riff between the parts when Art sings sounds
like it goes like this (let it all ring):

  G D G D

|-3---------------|-0---------------|
|-0---------0-----|-1---------2-----|
|-0-------2---2-0-|-0-------2---2-0-|
|-0---------------|-2---------------|
|-2---------------|-3---------------|
|-3---------------|-X---------------|

While Art is singing, there is, it sounds like, some lower octave, muted
approximation of the riff, but I've found that some appropriate muted
power chords work just fine and are much easier to play while singing.

Then there's that part that goes:

Am | C | [back to the above
riff]
                          | |
Because I walk with | pride with a black girl | friend

The chorus then goes:
Am Am Em Em | Am Am Em Em
                   |
       She said | She said

C G | D G
                       |
Forget the fact that | I don't look like you

Am Am Em Em | Am Am Em Em
                   |
       She said | She said

C | D | [back to pretty riff]
                        | |
You're possessed with a | power bigger than the pain |

Through all of those parts I think the bass just plays the root note of
each chord, or else that's what it sounds like.

I'm not exactly sure how the solo goes (there are some chord changes that
don't occur in the rest of the song), but here's one lick that's played a
couple of times during it:

|--------7-10-7-----|-----------------|
|---8-10------------|-10-8-10-7---/-\-|
|-------------------|-----------------|
|-------------------|-----------------|
|-------------------|-----------------|
|-------------------|-----------------|

And then comes:

|-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-|-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-|
|-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-|-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-|
|-----------------|-----------------|
|-----------------|-----------------|
|-----------------|-----------------|
|-----------------|-----------------|

And then it goes back to a few bars of the wierd part at the beginning,
but the rest is composed of the parts transcribed here. You should be
able to figure out where they come in if you listen to the song.
