OCT 30: EVERCLEAR GUITAR AUCTION

Might be a little pricey for most of you - but Christmas is just around the corner.

    From: Nora O'Brien

I am Nora O'Brien from ACES, Association for Children for Enforcement of Support. Art Alexakis of Everclear is a big supporter of ours when he played Rock n Roll Jeopardy for us in July 1999. He won a beautiful Les Paul guitar valued at $4600.00 for us. As a nonprofit organization that helps families owed support like Art when he was growing up, we want to sell the guitar to raise funds for our much needed programs.

    Please visit our website: www.childsupport-aces.org.

The guitar was used in a rehearsal last month, signed by the entire band and the package includes many accessories such as their strap, some of the band's picks, and some Gibson collector cards. This guitar is now up for sale on ebay under rock n roll memorabilia for $7500.00.

In addition, Art Alexakis spoke about the issue of nonsupport during the Spitfire Tour. The bill, HR 1488, would create a federal child support collection system through the IRS. Art will be testifying before Congress in January and March before the House Judiciary Committee and the House Social Security Sub Committee of the House Ways and Means Committee.
